If I remember right this is the site that only allows so many people to join and they were maxed so I couldn't. Anyways, I didn't know those two played together, how cool! I tell you what - Rowen allways puts on a killer show. Don't ever miss a chance to see him if you get one. Wish I could say I've seen Hunter but I've only seen him once and it was spoken word with Michael Mclure,no music.

Right on! Thanks! I'm working on some stuff for you as well that I hope you will like. I decided you need some Wilco whether you know it or not : ) Don't worry I'll find something else too.

Hi, I'd love to get in on this. I love Hunter and Rowan! I've never heard of them playing together either. I would love to have this. i went to the dime link and like Johnny said it's maxed out. Not sure what I could offer in exchange, I do have some good RH on tape, but no way to transfer it. Also have a couple Peter Rowan and Free Mexican Airforce or Crucial Reggae... While I'm groveling, I would do most anything for a copy of Jack of Roses. It just is flat out not to be found, I work in retail music and between those and internet resources it just doesn't seem to exist...

PS Hunter never disappoints! I've heard a few of his shows starting in the Rum Runners days and have always been humbled by the Master of Words...

Peter's always a great show too!

also, you're right on about Jack of Roses, one of Hunter's best in my opinion, and he did a lot of great stuff. i'd send you a copy, but what i have of Hunter is all on vinyl. been wanting to convert my vinyl into digital, but there's only so much time in the day, know what i mean? i'll tell you what, i'm on vacation all this week and will scour the music shops both new and used and see if i can dig up the disk (was it ever released on CD?). cool that you work in music retail. i worked for near two years for Newbury Comics (very cool New England music retailer). glad that you're keeping the torch alight in a somewhat dying arm of the retail market. nazdravi, Arbuthnot.

cush ... not to worry my friend, with me it's never groveling so don't even think it. If i've got it, it's yours or anyone who asks, and never a need to reply in kind. just e-mail me your postal address and i'll get it out to you this week. also, here's the set list from the show. it's not PR and RH performing together, but different sets, early and late. though thinking about it, that's a lot of great music in one day at one venue. can't wait to listen myself!

Hi I've been searching for Robert Hunter '78 or '79 lately and can't find anything active. Can you help point me to a source? In searching I came across your forum post from way back when...I saw Hunter and bassist Larry Klein many times in this era and would like to relive the wonderful sonic experience. Thanks!
